Wow....
So much to say and so little time to type it in. I've had an awesome last seven days. Wednesday I went to a pub in Wixom and listened to my friend sing kareoke. He's entered into some contest that is eight weeks long and get this- 1st place prize $600. I was almost contemplating joining...then I remembered I'm me. Hehe. I may go again tomorrow and watch the guys sing. Yes, all were guys except for the single lady. My only complaint is that one guy, wearing scary tight sweat pants, sang "Stroke It" twice. The judges also seemed to be slightly wasted (Giving them the benefit of the doubt) or just really bad at their job. Thursday consisted of work and was a down day for me. I was suppose to go out, but I was wicked tired, so I stayed in and watched TV. It was nice and relaxing.
Friday I worked and then went with Steve to Brandon's football game. They played great, despite the freezing cold rain. It came down wicked hard and Steve and I were soaked. By half time the band had been dismissed and we left with Ashley to go to her house. I never knew how genuinly great my little bro's girlfriend's family was until then. Her Dad was like make yourself at home, we're getting you guys pizza, and here's some dry clothes. We watched movies and had a fun time. Ashley and her little brother, Matt, are fun to talk to. When we left her Dad was like you guys can come back anytime. Apparently, her Dad talked about how great I was the next day. Nothing like a confidence boost. Ashley's mom talked about her older brother-yeah, I'd be interested in meeting him. I know I'd like the family. Granted it'd be a little strange, but interesting.
The rest of the weekend I hung out with friends. Sunday night I never came back until 5am. I couldn't believe I wasn't tired on monday. Life is fun and great. I hope the same for everyone else.
Sarcastic Ramblings-Entertaining if nothing else...
Life from a different view- a little tainted, slightly jaded, and randomly bitter. But funny none the less.
