Tonight was an amazing night. I went to a dinner presentation and it was great. At first, I was thinking ah free dinner-a reason to dress up-and I get to hang with my friends. I know not the right reasons, but it was definitely something to look forward to. So work flew by fast, it's so monotonous, but it's better than nothing and the opportunities are good. I rush home, walk Emily (the great big beastie she is-I love her), shower, and get dressed. I meet up with Josh, Tony, and Paul and we start driving. None of us really knew where this manor was, but Gunar gave us directions so we think we're good. First mistake-thinking Gunar's directions were good. Hehe. We had to turn around like 3 times, but the conversation and laughs made up for it.
Finally, we get there and the place is pretty nice. (The sign outside could use some work, but don't judge it by the sign). Dinner is started so we sit down and eat. Everyone was starving and the food was awesome. We had prime rib, chicken, potatoes, and green beans. They had this wonderful sauce on the meat and it was great. So the presentation is starting when dessert is being passed out and I was thinking great here comes the boring part, but it was so informational, inspiring, and genuinly entertaining. The main speaker was James Dobson's son, Ryan and I'm expecting some old guy who'll get up there and all I'll hear is, "Blah blah, blah blah blah blah." But much to my fortune the speaker was young and very funny. He was a straight forward person and tells it like it is. I could relate and we had alot of the same thought processes. He is from California, 24-ish, a surfer, had plugs in his ears, preacher's son, who speaks about God and the need to stand up for what is right, etc. He incorporated humor into almost everything and was just really funny. If you have a chance to see him-go. Might make you think twice about your choices and where you're going in the future. Very inspiring. I was surprised at how good it was and was glad I went even if I went for the wrong reason God blessed me with something great out of it.
We leave and on the way back Josh and I laughing so hard because of a story I was telling him. About a year and half ago, maybe less, I rear-ended a guy and he just so happened to be gay. So I'm telling my story and I said, "Yeah, I rear-ended this gay guy and he didn't even care. He was just wanting everyone to be okay." Josh and I laughed wicked hard because I didn't realize how funny that sounded until he said, "Well, I'm sure it's not that guys first time being rear-ended." We returned to Tony's house where we watched the end of the presidential debate and talked politics and baseball. It was so much fun. We drank caramel coffee and just discussed things going on in the world and different views and morals, etc. I learned alot tonight and also have alot to think about. It's so great hearing others views and takes on things, especially if it's something you never knew about and it's brand new to you. I might just dig this political debating thing. I love hearing other people and then questioning them-it's such a great way to learn and re-affirm the things you believe in. We then talked about Babe Ruth and Barry Bonds because there is a debate about who's better. The main line was Babe Ruth never played against African Americans so he isn't the better player. My question is why is it about black and white. Look at the stats-who's better? Also, who's used drugs and who hasn't? We then talked about great players like Cobb, Piazza, and Williams. We touched briefly on hockey and football, but it was mostly baseball. Regardless, it was very interesting because I don't know that much about baseball.
I have to work tomorrow-yuck! Hopefully it'll go by fast..... Right. I'm only going to get 4 hours of sleep. It's going to be fun, I can already tell. Well I hope you guys get as much insight as I have tonight-it's great to question things.
Sarcastic Ramblings-Entertaining if nothing else...
Life from a different view- a little tainted, slightly jaded, and randomly bitter. But funny none the less.

Not much to say...
School and work. I went to church to help program things tonight and it was fun. I'm looking forward to things actually coming to fruition. If everything runs the way we're planning-it'll be great! I can't wait to start decorating things for christmas, everyone has great ideas.
Today I took a test in nutrition and hopefully I did as well as my last test (97%). It was harder than what I expected, but the first test is always hard because you don't know what to expect from the professor. I'm excited I think I'm going to do fairly well this semester regardless of how hard my classes are.
I'll have new pictures up soon-I need steve to hook up the scanner. Hehe, he's so funny lately. His girlfriend is making him funny crazy-he's so excited about her. At least he's getting good grades and being in good moods.
Soon I'll have pictures and stories.

So I finally get to start my weekend....I know it's saturday, but I work thur-sat. Small weekend for me, but money is important. I'm just excited I'm getting a steady flow now. It's about time. Hehe.
My wonderful little brother went to homecoming tonight and he looked very handsome. I haven't seen him dressed up in awhile and people look older when they dress up. His girlfriend Ashley was absolutely stunning. My brother has great taste-she's funny, beautiful, and really has a good personality. Besides she makes him happy. It's scary because he's 15 and already talking about marriage. Makes me feel old and scares me all at once. I love him to death though and I'm proud of him. He's awesome.
That's about all that's going on. Have fun!
